Growing up in Kwa-Thema, east of Johannesburg, kaysoul was surrounded by the sounds of house, bubblegum and kwaito long before he ever stepped into a studio. Inspired by Larry Heard and driven by a deep love for groove, he began producing in 2010 and has been refining his craft ever since.

Today, his music carries the warmth and soul of classic deep house, with releases on labels like Shall Not Fade, Dirt Crew and Last Forever. Rooted in South Africa but always looking back to Chicago, KaySoul has built a sound that feels both familiar and unmistakably his own.
